I think despite the sort of dated interiors, I would probably pick the LES unit with the 2B/2BA higher up because I just love that whole section of Manhattan <3 But dang... those bridge views at the end were stunning. Super unique apartment views!

you were just really picky about things I thought were quite miniscule for those price points... (I would have to close the blind every time to take a shower... aw poor you).. you also seem to have a fixation on the Empire State Building.. meh.. the prices though.... why are you not looking to buy.. that is just insane. 60-100k a year on rent.. no way in hell... I think Warren Buffett would call you stupid.

I’m always frustrated with these apartment hunt videos where the hunters must-haves are 2-bathrooms, but waste time looking at apartments with only one bathroom. Why bother?

I spent a lot of my life (and money) living in central London. Looking back, I really enjoyed the city vibe, but I think it would have been more sensible to live in a cheaper suburb and commute. I just mean that I’ve probably paid enough to landlords to buy a place outright. Also I’d say don’t assume that your current salary will go on forever. Anyway just my thoughts, good luck and best wishes!

Good luck with the search guys. I loved the last building’s finishes and the views 🤩. I often think about moving downtown but am loving my UWS location near Lincoln Centre, with both Riverside and Central Park in easy walking distance. I do love your current space but hear what you say about older property issues.

I'm also looking and fully agree about all those hallways and doors - not great in a small space. I also really liked the last one w/bridge views. BUT are the amenities worth the extra 💵 (plus noise). Have you considered Roosevelt Island - it has everything you want - - very pet friendly too! I don't know what that first air bnb was, but it's not a Maine cabin. You're right to be concerned...weird. And that second lobster roll "dinner" at the Lobster Shack is absolutely nothing I've ever seen in my entire life as a Maine resident for a lobster roll (I dont know what the heck that was that they served you). A true Maine lobster roll is nothing more than a grilled roll with fresh lobster meat maybe tossed with a bit of mayo. Warm lobster meat with a bit of melted butter on a roll has started to appear, but it's not traditional. Where did you eat breakfast? It looks pretty good. You go to Portland Headlight EVERY time? Skip it next time...we have lots of other lighthouses...with free parking, and better lobster rolls. You rented a bnb and had to sleep on the couch?! Oh boooo, no way. The Holy Donut...good choice...Portland is notorious for no place to park. It has many parking garages within a 10 to 20 minute walk of wherever you want to be. Not "Bahth"..."Bath", as in tub. Yes, you should stop at Taste of Maine. Bnb 2...excellent. But noise like that happens on a working dock. Aw, relaxed...very nice and only happens when you leave the southern counties...they're all hustle bustle. Come to Midcoast and the vibe is very different. So glad your second round was so much nicer for you. You know...there's an actual Whoopie Pie Festival here every year. And back to the city. I'm really glad that for the most part you had a mostly good visit. Next time? Call me. You're missing out on a lot more that Maine has to offer. Thanks for bringing us with you.

Wow - that was magical to see you visit some of Tarkowskys locations. The fackt that someone really did this is like a Dream. Thanke you so much for shearing. I have dreamy about doing the same for 15 Y - and in fact ended up in vilage Calcatta outside Roma in 2006 - wich you can see in Nostalgia.
